Thank you for being very patient and understanding about the plans for our Catechism 2020-2021 program.
We have decided as directed by the Archdiocese of Winnipeg and Father Yolly that this 2020-2021 year we will be doing the Home-based catechesis/remote instruction & distance learning program for our parish.
The program during this pandemic will be delivered online. You and your children will be involved with the Catechists through email, phone calls or teachers will reach out in video conference if needed.
We will continue with the Finding God Program that our Parish uses and your child will be provided the work book. Parents will be given the online resources to help assist your children throughout this Catechetical year.
We will be ordering the books in the next week and it should take a couple weeks to arrive. We will keep you posted on the start dates and the plans in the next few weeks.
A tentative date of October 24,25, 2020 or possibly early November 2020 may be the timeline on the start date of the Catechism year. I will have the Catechists in contact with you as soon as the books arrive and we will send out the calendars for the year. Our spaces are very limited and we are not taking any more registrations at this time, we hope you understand.
If you have any questions, please email me, thanks!
